FLY FISHING EXPERIENCE

Experience Overview

A full-day fly fishing adventure with BLACK will take you to some of the most beautiful locations and rivers around the Southern Lakes. Some of our favourite locations include wilderness streams of the Mt Aspiring National Park and local meandering braided rivers and waters in close proximity to Queenstown.

Travel by 4WD out of Queenstown to one of the many rivers in the region, or opt for a Heli Fly Fishing experience, and enjoy a scenic helicopter flight to a remote backcountry location tucked away in a stunning national park setting.

Your guide will handpick a river based on weather, fly fishing experience, and where the fish are running giving you the best chance to hunt and catch beautiful rainbow or brown trout.

Tour Highlights

With BLACK, it goes without saying that you will travel in style. Allow yourself to be collected from your accommodation in a luxury European SUV by your private fly fishing guide. Your guide will come prepared with quality waders, rods, reels, lines, leaders, and flys, along with all that you need to enjoy a gourmet lunch, tea, and coffee on the side of a river bank.

Our guide ratio is a maximum of one guide to two adults, and whether you are a regular fly fisherman or social angler, our guide will provide the appropriate support for each individual.

This is truly a New Zealand experience with a fantastic local guide.
